About me

I am a scientist with a background in neuroscience and psychology, and have an extensive experience in clinical medicine, laboratory science and medical technology; with a long-demonstrated history of working in the Swedish medical and health care field.

My research explores the dynamic phenomenon of resilience within medical education, aiming to deepen our understanding of how this capacity can be taught and cultivated as a foundation for sustainable health and professional development. By tracing resilience from its origins in the field of physics, through psychology’s earlier individualistic models, and into more integrative biopsychosocial frameworks, the study examines how resilience is perceived, learned, and expressed in clinical training environments. Particular attention is given to how sociocultural norms and institutional structures shape medical students’ emotional adaptability and overall well-being. The goal is to inform pedagogical strategies that support long-term health, psychological safety, and ethically grounded education within the medical profession.
