I am a scientist with a background in neuroscience and psychology, and have an extensive experience in clinical medicine, laboratory science and medical technology; with a long demonstrated history of working in the swedish medical and health care field.

My research project  surrounds exploring the levels of emotional intelligence, among medical students. I aspire to gain a deeper comprehension to why physicians ability for empathy seems to gradually deminish along with the progression of their careers. 
The activity of the human brain is intricatly intertwined with human behaviour and mental processes, some of which are associated with emotional regulation. The aquisiton of a better insight in this matter may yield improved educational outcomes in medical education as well as improved communication skills (doctor -patient consults) among physicians.
