Communication project funding to Tarfala Research Station
Formas funding to create a deeper understanding of climate change in the Arctic.
Director of Tarfala Research Station (TRS), Nina Kirchner have together with interim operative station manager Annika Granebeck recently received 1,778,966 SEK from Formas. The project will make research conducted at TRS more available for non-scholars and create a deeper understanding of climate change in the Arctic.

By analyzing landscape elements, we can reconstruct environments and processes that previously worked in the landscape, and we have a special focus on areas that are or have been covered by glaciers and ice sheets.
