Research group Hui-Xin Wang’s research lab

Wang’s lab focuses on the influences of life-course psychosocial factors, biomarkers and their interactions with genetic/biologic factors on the risk of developing different health outcomes.

Psychosocial factors that we are interested in range from socioeconomic status, lifestyle, sleep and depression to working environments/conditions. Health outcomes that we are focused on include neurodegenerative, psychiatric, metabolic and cardiovascular diseases, as well as brain structural and functional changes, mortality, and drug use.
