Research project Among dreams of welfare and growth: a text-based investigation of the phenomenon of preschool childr
The project takes as its starting point recent years' discussions about the inadequate work environment in Swedish preschools and examines what work environment could mean in relation to children's conditions and everyday life in preschools.
The problem area is that both adult workers and school children from the age of six have the right to a good work environment, but that the concept of work environment does not apply to children in preschools, where children can spend ten hours a day, five days a week, all year round. By bringing together knowledge from various scientific, media and everyday practices, the project aims to investigate and produce knowledge about the phenomenon of preschool children's work environment, with a particular focus on the youngest children in preschools.
