Research project Robotic Process Automation in public service
Robotic Process Automation adoption is increasing in the public sector. The aim is to improve the quality and efficiency of public services. This PhD thesis project studies the adoption process from the perspective of technology as routine capability.

In this project, we conduct case studies in public organizations to investigate how Robotic Process Automation (RPA) as routine capability is achieved in execution. We also study how the adoption of RPA changes the practices of public organizations.
This involves detailed, up-close and in-depth examination of RPA enabled practices composed of several routines in each case organization. The case studies are conducted in Turkey and Sweden.
