The project's main goal is to create an AI assistant that will find answer a user's questions with help of the Scandinavian Runic database.

Reading development in newly arrived high school students addresses a well-defined educational need: the automatization of decoding in second language learner reading. Decoding is critical for comprehension and therefore for learning.

My dissertation project investigates Ditransitive Verb-Particle Construction (Ditr. VPC) in modern Swedish from a constructional-grammatical perspective.

Speakers make use of intonation in order to highlight the most important part of an utterance (its focus) and listeners rely on it in order to comprehend the message. In this project we study how Swedish kindergarten children develop the skill to produce and to interpret focus intonation, be means of, among others, eye-tracking experiments.

This project investigates the prosodic phenomenon stød in Danish. The project consists of three studies with nonce words – two production studies and one perception study. The three studies focus on either stød in relation to the position of the stressed syllable, syllabic structure or morphological context.

This project aims to chart and analyze the development of negation in the history of Swedish, from Runic Swedish 'eigi' to present day Swedish 'inte'. The overarching goal is to provide a description of the changes involved in the rise and fall of these negators over time and relate their development to theories of language change and negation.
