Advanced Studies on the Psycho- and Neurolinguistics of Bilingualism and Second Language Acquisition
The course provides advanced knowledge of psycho- and neurolinguistic research on bilingualism – its main research questions, methods and results.
In particular, the course seeks to provide advanced knowledge of theory and methodology as well as insights into scientific ways of working in the psycho- and neurolinguistic lines within the field of bilingual research. The latter also includes development of practical knowledge of experimental design and implementation, quantitative data analysis and presentation, as well as grounding these in applicable ethical standards of research.

Welcome activities
Stockholm University organises a series of welcome activities that stretch over a few weeks at the beginning of each semester. The programme is voluntary (attendance is optional) and includes Arrival Service at the airport and an Orientation Day, see more details about these events below.

Teaching format
- Instruction consists of lectures and seminars.
- Attendance of at least 85% of all teaching sessions is mandatory.
- The language of instruction is English.
