Empirical Methods in Economics I
The aim of this course is to provide an understanding of the statistical methods needed in order to analyze economic problems empirically.
The analytical tools and concepts taught during the course are used in several different professions, ranging from public administration to financial analysis and marketing.
This course replaces Empirical Methods in Economics I with course code EC2403.

Course structure
This is a 7.5 credit course. One week of full-time studies equals 1.5 credits.
The language of instruction is English.
Course material will be available through the learning platform Athena during the course.
Teaching format
Instruction is given in the form of lectures and seminars.
Assessment
The course is examined on the basis of written examinations.
