Korean IV
The course strengthens and deepens the knowledge of the contemporary Korean language.
The course introduces students to Korean and Western books that are important tools for studying various aspects of contemporary Korean culture and society.

Course structure
The course consists of three modules that deal with reading and practical proficiency in Korean.
Modules
1. Reading Skills 1, 7.5 credits
This module aims as deepening the students knowledge in Korean grammar as well as practice the ability to read texts in Korean. It consists of reading with grammatical and textual analysis as well as hanja.2. Reading Skills 2, 7.5 credits
Continuing where Reading 1 stopped, this module further deepends the students knowledge of the above.3. Language Proficiency 4, 7.5 credits
This module consolidates the students spoken language proficiency. The students also practice to write explicative texts in Korean.Teaching format
The teaching consists of lectures and group exercises. Attendance at all classes is mandatory.Course details and resources

Assessment
The modules Reading Skill 1 and Reading Skill 2 are examined through written exams.
Practical language proficiency 4 is examined through three oral presentations.
