International Law and the Global Economy
The purpose of the course International Law and the Global Economy is to give the students an understanding of the legal principles and mechanisms governing international economic law (IEcL), with an emphasis on trade law, investment law and financing. law.
International Law and the Global Economy is given as an elective course within the framework of the law program at the Department of Law, Stockholm University. Exchange students admitted by the department are also given access to the course.
In the course the international economic law is also treated from an economic and political perspective and is set in the context of other areas of law, such as environmental law and human rights. The course begins with a short recap of public international law.

Syllabus - International Law and the Global Economy
Instruction is given in the form of lectures, seminars and practical exercises. The language of instruction is English.
Examination in the course is carried out through active attendance at the seminars as stated in the course description, oral and written presentations, a written examination as well as a home exam.
