Swedish Geography
Swedish Geography, 7,5 HECs, discusses aspects of Swedish geography related to topics in human geography, and which include landscape, population, social, urban and economic geography.
This course primarily targets exchange students and foreign students at Stockholm University, especially students in geography, planning, and other subjects in the social sciences.

Course structure
Through this course you will be able to describe development of different aspects in Sweden and which are relevant for Human Geography, describe and discuss literature in particular theme of Human Geography and with reflection on the situation in Sweden.
The language of instruction is English.
Teaching format
Obligatory teaching format are lectures, seminars, excursions and to write a paper.

Learning objectives
On completion of this module students will be able to:
- present outlines of different aspects of conditions in Sweden which are relevant to themes in human geography.
- present outlines and discuss literature in a defined question of human geography and with reflections to the situation in Sweden.
Assessment
The examination includes writing a paper.
