Past - Present - Future: Literature of China, Taiwan and Hong Kong
The course presents different perspectives in which the theme "literature" is approached, e.g. genre (historical novel, contemporary literature, science fiction), concept (literature and memory) and comparative literature (times, places, etc.).
The course also provides an overview of the history of Chinese literature based on the theme "past - present and future" based on the perspectives introduced in the course. The most important literary institutions are also discussed, as well as the relationship between literature and politics and some individual authors and their most significant works.
