Media in Latin America
The course provides an empirical and theoretical overview of the role of media in Latin American countries, specifically in the domains of media and politics, popular culture and media representations of class, gender and sexuality. The course presents contemporary media research in Latin America, and discusses, through an analysis of the media, current aspects of everyday life in Latin American countries.
