Developmental Psychology 1
The course provides knowledge about human development from prenatal to adolescence.
The development process is seen as an interaction between biological, psychological as well as social and societal factors.
The course aims to provide knowledge in modern developmental psychology, where psychodynamic, cognitive, neuropsychological and social psychological factors are treated with an aspiration to a holistic view of development as a complex and lifelong process. The development process is mainly described from a typical perspective, while atypical development is touched upon to some extent.
This is the fourth and last course within the Psychology I - Course Package (PS11KP).
