Om mig

PhD student in Art History at the Department for Culture and Aesthetics, Stockholm University since September 2017. MA in Art History from Stockholm University (2016) and BA in Art History from Södertörn University (2014).

In my thesis, I investigate the discursive relation between notions of architectural aesthetics and environmental sustainability as it plays out in a number of recent texts in architectural theory. More specifically, I look at negotiations and (re-)conceptualizations of the notion of aesthetics that take shape within a tripartite discursive interplay between notions of sustainability, aesthetics and nature and/or the natural, in architectural theory at the beginning of the twenty-first century.
