RT1 Retreat at Villa Källhagen

On the 19th of February, members of Research Theme 1 (The physical-chemical climate system) gathered at Villa Källhagen for a full-day retreat.

Around 30 participants from SU, KTH and SMHI attended. Many Early Career Researchers (ECRs) were also in attendance, which was great to see.

During the workshop, researchers gave short presentations on their research and the types of research questions they are tackling, and colleagues from SMHI presented current modelling activities. Everyone was then divided into smaller groups to discuss relevant subject areas in more detail.

One of the core aims of this retreat was to give everyone an opportunity to get to know each other, and initiate new collaborations.
