Abstract
This thesis explores the role of digital civics in promoting a more sustainable and equitable future. It suggests that carefully designed digital technologies can play an important role in supporting community-led efforts to address pressing social and environmental challenges such as food waste. The key themes of my thesis include post-capitalism, community economies, and food waste activism.
