About the seminar
Modern software is often built with the help of numerous reused software components and automation tools, written by a vast network of people and organizations that may not even know of one another. This network is called the supply chain of a software artifact – by analogy with the manufacturing of physical objects.
These practices have increased both the speed of development and arguably its quality. Yet, they have created a playground for a new kind of security troubles: software supply chain attacks. This presentation will discuss events where an actor of the supply chain goes rogue and explore perspectives on what to do about it.
