Webinar
Date:Thursday 15 May 2025
Time:10.30 – 11.30

How are food and water supplies affected in areas receiving large numbers of internally displaced persons or refugees from another country? What challenges arise?
These questions are addressed in the report “Food and Drinking Water Supply During War – Lessons from Ukraine and Poland in the Context of a Large Influx of Refugees,” published by the Swedish Food Agency.
During this webinar, Karina Shyrokykh, Associate Professor at the Department of Economic History and International Relations and one of the report’s authors, will present the findings and recommendations for how Sweden’s food and drinking water preparedness can be strengthened.
The webinar will be held online (via Teams) and the presentation will be in English.
