We offer Master's programmes and individual Master's courses in Sociology and Demography taught in English. Our Master's programmes have a single admission round for all applicants, with a deadline in mid-January of the same year the programme begins.

Demography
Demography is the study of human populations – their size, composition and distribution across space – and the process through which populations change. Births, deaths and migration are the ‘big three’ of demography, jointly producing population stability or change.

PhD Studies
Doctoral studies lead to a degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), which comprises 240 credits in total, equivalent to four years of full-time study.
This training is characterised as in-depth study within specific fields and aims at introduce the doctoral student to academic traditions, as well as fostering their development into an independent and critical researcher.
