At the Department of Sociology, we conduct research in sociology and demography. Below you will find Stockholm University Demography Unit (SUDA), an international group of scholars and doctoral students, working on many facets of population dynamics. The Center for Cultural Evolution, where some of our researchers participate, conducts interdisciplinary research on the causal relationships that shape and change human culture in both the long and the short term.
