Sergelhuset

Sergelhuset is located in the heart of Stockholm, close to shopping, restaurants, cinemas, and much more. Several of the city’s most well-known landmarks – including the City Hall, the Royal Theatre, the Old Town, and the Royal Swedish Opera – are all within walking distance.

The building is a modern mixed-use property that combines apartments and offices. It also features two restaurants and a rooftop terrace. Completed in 2022, it forms part of a major urban development project aimed at creating a vibrant and exclusive new city centre.

At Sergelhuset, international guest researchers and doctoral students can rent fully furnished studio and one-bedroom apartments.

Public transport connections are excellent. Within a few minutes’ walk, you can access all three underground lines, commuter trains, and the tram to Royal Djurgården. From the central underground station, T-Centralen, the red line towards Mörby centrum takes you to Stockholm University’s Campus Frescati – station Universitetet – in just ten minutes.

By bicycle, the journey takes 15 to 20 minutes. From Stockholm Central Station, trains depart to Arlanda Airport (a 20-minute journey) as well as to other parts of Sweden.

 

Room types and sizes

There are 16 studio apartments (42–45 square meters) and four larger one-bedroom apartments (61 square meters) with a combined kitchen and living room area.

 

Rent

The rent is between SEK 12 600–13 100 for the studios and SEK 17 450–17 650 for the apartments per month.

 

Furniture and equipment

All apartments have a private balcony, dishwasher and washing machine. They are furnished with a bed, wardrobe, sofa and table and chairs. 

The kitchen has a refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven and microwave, dinnerware and cooking utensils. 

Please note that you need to bring your own blanket, pillow, sheets and towels.

Living at Sergelhuset

Internet

A router is installed and activated in your room. Internet support contact Halebop at +46 13-495 07 42 or chat at www.halebop.se/kontakta-oss.

Laundry

Each apartment has a washing machine in the bathroom. A shared laundry room is located in the basement. Book laundry slot on the screen outside using key tag. 

Parking

There are two parking garages in the near area. 

General information about staff parking

Aimopark

Bike storage is found in the basement. Bring your bike through the main entrance and go down one floor by elevator.

Postbox

Postbox is in the main entrance tagged with tenant’s name. Use your apartment key to open it.

Recycling

Recycling facilities is found at the first door on your right when exiting the main entrance.
