In today's society, the involvement of children with screen media is prevalent, especially in Sweden, where there has until recently been an absence of official guidelines regarding children's usage of screen media. This presentation aims to explore the impact of screen media, considering not just the duration but also the content and context of screen usage, and examining the consequences for children's language development and learning.

The Research seminar at the Department of Linguistics welcomes Dr. Felix Koch and Dr. Anette Sundqvist from the Department of Behavioural Sciences and Learning (IBL) at Linköping University.
