Research project Teacher and medical education - self-confidence, emotional challenges and moral stress.
In this project we investigate the professional development of teacher and medical students in relation to professional self-confidence, emotional challenges and moral stress during the first years of their training.

Education and health care are complex organisations that place high psychological, cognitive and emotional demands on professionals. There therefore lies a great responsibility on teacher and medical education programmes to prepare students for future demands in professional life. However, there is currently a lack of knowledge about how students develop professional self-confidence during their education as teachers and physicians in a Swedish context.
The purpose of the project is to investigate teacher and medical students' development of professional self-confidence during their education. Professional self-confidence is also related to emotional challenges and moral stress.
Project title: A longitudinal study on professional self-confidence, emotional challenges and moral stress in teacher and medical education.
