About me
Josefin Forsberg Koel is a PhD candidate at in Early Childhood Education and Care since 2020. Josefin is a former preschool teacher, and has a master´s degree in ECEC.
Research
Josefins research interest concerns children´s everyday life in institutions, children´s rights, value issues and power relations. Her PhD project more specifically studies children´s privacy in preschool. Through an ethnographic approach and starting from children´s point of view, the study aims at an empirical understanding of when and how preschool children express privacy - and what values are at stake when they do. The project is supervised by Åsa Bartholdsson, Anna Ålund and Anne-Li Lindgren.
