This research group is one of the leading groups in Swedish research in Education related to organizations and working life. Internationally the group contributes to research within workplace learning, organizational learning and learning organization.
Group description
Researchers within the group study work place learning, organizational change and learning in organizations from different theoretical points of departure and with different research approaches and methods. Research about workplace learning focuses on how people learn and develop competences and form identities in their daily work. Moreover preconditions for learning related to work organizations, leadership and organizational cultures are focused, as well as how these cultures are formed and shaped in daily work activities. Workplace learning is studied at an individual, group and organizational level. Several researchers within the group also strive to contribute to develop good learning and work conditions in working life more generally.
