Research subject French and Francophone Literature
This research area deals with literature from France and the French-speaking world.
Literary texts are examined from critical perspectives such as geneology, genre, poetics, rhetoric, message, intertextuality, reception and socio-cultural contexts as basis for analysis. Studies draw on perspectives of a large variety and aim to produce illumination of complex phenomena and construal of text interpretations. These perspectives can be text-, author-, reader- or contextbased.
