Advanced traineeship in organic chemistry II.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: To be admitted to the course you need to have made proper arrangements with a supervisor associated with the department. Contact the Director of Studies for the department. If no arrangements have been made with a supervisor upon application your application will be denied.
The student participates under supervision in the daily activities of a research laboratory and performs tasks that are normally included in the work. The work is carried out in the field of organic chemistry.

Course structure
The student participates under supervision in the daily activities of a research laboratory and performs tasks that are normally included in the work. The work is carried out in the field of organic chemistry.
Teaching format
The teaching consists of an introduction, internship with assignments in organic chemistry in a research-driven workplace. The practice takes place under supervision. The course is given in English.
Assessment
- Lab notes in logbook format. The logbook should be written in English
- Oral presentation in English
After completing the course, the student in the relevant area is expected to be able to:
- explain how the activities at an organic chemistry department are organized
- explain career paths
- describe the research work in practice relevant to the practice and relate this to work environment and business goals
- critically assess and give examples of strengths and development area, and draw conclusions for their future career planning
To pass the final grade, participation in the introduction and daily activities is required. Participation in daily activities should correspond to normal working hours.
