Portuguese as a World Language
This course focuses on a selection of texts that deal with the spread of Portuguese around the world and illustrates various aspects of culture and society in areas where Portuguese has official status.
The course highlights cultural encounters in contemporary and historical socio-cultural contexts and prepares the student for approaching Portuguese-language environments from an intercultural perspective.
