About the course

The course covers the Italian literature from its earliest texts until the 18th century with a focus on the most important writers and works. Great emphasis is placed on the writers who are considered to be iconic like Dante and Petrarch to Giuseppe Parini. The course will cover the literature from a literary historical perspective but takes into consideration aesthetic aspects and relevant analytical methods within Literature research.
