Differential Geometry
The central objects in modern differential geometry are differentiable manifolds. Ideas and methods from differential geometry are fundamental in modern physical theories.
The course covers differentiable manifolds and mappings, tangent vectors, Riemannian metrics, curvature.
The course replaces the previous version with course code MM8022.

Schedule
The schedule will be available no later than one month before the start of the course. We do not recommend print-outs as changes can occur. At the start of the course, your department will advise where you can find your schedule during the course.Note that semesters do not always start on the same day at Stockholm University and KTH, so this course may begin before the official first day of the semester at Stockholm University.
