Stockholm Business School celebrates graduating students

On Friday, June 2nd, Stockholm Business School celebrated all the students who graduated during the academic year 2022/2023.

Restaurant Proviant in House 2 on Campus Albano was filled with happy and dressed-up students. Teachers and other staff members also joined in celebrating the students' graduation.

The mingling began with a student song from the stage, followed by a group singing of the classic graduation song, "Idas sommarvisa" (Ida's Summer Song). Andreas Sundström, the Deputy Head of Department, gave a speech where he thanked the students for their time at Stockholm Business School and wished them good luck for the future. He referred to the department’s vision and mission, stating that the students, through their education, are now ready to face local and global challenges in society and contribute to a sustainable future.

Florence Cummings, the outgoing president of Föreningen Ekonomerna, gave a speech to the students and the department's academic advisors and Head of Department thanked her for her efforts.

Föreningen Ekonomerna also awarded this year's Ballerina Award, which was given to Professor Bino Catasus.

The award is presented in two categories: Tutor of the Year and Best Teaching Adaptation, every year. Students at the department voted for the best teacher through Föreningen Ekonomern's social media channels. This is the fourth time that Bino Catasus has received the Ballerina Award.

To conclude the program, teachers and academic advisors from Stockholm Business School treated the audience to a medley of several well-known songs, performed on stage.
