On the first day of the autumn semester, August 28th, Stockholm Business School greeted over 1000 new students in Aula Magna.
All newly admitted students were invited to SBS Welcome information that began with an opening speech by Head Fredrik Nordin.

Director of Study Susanne Weinberg provided information about academic studies and what it entails to study at the university. She introduced, among other things, the SBS Code of Conduct, exams, grading systems, degrees, the importance of avoiding plagiarism and cheating.

Academic advisors Anna Lönnberg, Malin Thunholm, Linda Kjellman, and Charlott Lindén Ahmad talked about study techniques and the resources available for students at the university, such as the Academic Writing Service, as well as Student Health Services. International Coordinator Christian Todoran informed about the opportunities for international exchange studies.

Finally, the Student Association "Föreningen Ekonomerna" presented their student activities, and the Mentorship Program "Fadderiet" entered the stage. Fadderiet is Föreningen Ekonomerna's six-week-long orientation program where all new students are assigned a mentor.
