The Stockholm University BioResearch School organizes PhD courses and workshops for students in all biology departments, making it an excellent platform for transdisciplinary interactions and networking.
As a PhD student at MBW, you will belong to the research school in Molecular Life Sciences. In addition to subject-related courses, the BioResearch School organizes an obligatory introduction course, a course preparing the students for their career after the PhD and general interest courses such as statistics and scientific writing. In addition to this, the BioResearch School also organizes special events like workshops and the annual PhD-day. These activities are equally well attended by students from both branches of the research school, providing ample opportunities for transdisciplinary interactions.
