What it is like to be a researcher in Sweden?
PhD Council - where doctoral students influence decisions at the department
The PhD Council is a platform where PhD students can raise issues related to research, teaching, courses, and social activities. Members are encouraged to share questions, opinions, and suggestions, which are then presented to the Department Board by two PhD representatives. All PhD students are automatically members of the Council.
By actively participating, you can influence your working conditions, both within your department and across the university. The PhD Council also serves as a social hub and a valuable source of information on departmental and university events. Elections for active positions are held annually.
