On November 18th at 9:30-12.00, we are happy to host Anna Åkerfeldt from Stockholm University/Ifous and Jon Hindmarsh from King´s College in London. Anna will talk about programming activities designed in primary school and Jon will focus on the wind tunnel of telemarketing.

Title: Exploring programming didactics in primary school - a gender perspective

Anna Åkerfeldt is a PhD and researcher at the department of teaching and learning, Stockholm University, and project manager at Ifous, which has its focus on innovation, research and development in schools and preschools. She also works with Sweden’s first national EdTech testbed - Swedish Edtest. Her research interest is learning, teaching and assessment in digital learning environments, programming didactics and digital learning environments. Anna is Editor-in-Chief for the open access journal Designs for Learning, www.designsforlearning.nu.

Title: The ‘wind tunnel’ of telemarketing 
Jon Hindmarsh is Professor of Work and Interaction in King’s Business School, King’s College London, UK. He studies social interaction in various organisational settings and explores the interactional foundations to work and organising. He co-authored Video in Qualitative Research with Christian Heath and Paul Luff, and co-edited Organisation, Interaction and Practice with Nick Llewellyn. Email: jon.hindmarsh@kcl.ac.uk
