Registration Spring Semester 2025

Dear student! We're happy that you will study with us. If you are admitted to a course or programme, you will receive a Welcome email from us. You will find all you need there, but on this page you also find all needed for a good start Spring 2025

 

Timetable semester start Spring 2025

January 7: Welcome emails start being sent out from us to those admitted - to the email address you used when you applied for the course/programme at antagning.se/universityadmissions.se

January 7 - 15: Online registration period for all courses (unless otherwise stated in the welcome email). NOTE: To keep your place, you must register online, unless otherwise noted. The welcome email contains all the information you need for online registration.

Week 3, 2025: from this date, reserves can be accepted. You will be contacted via email and will have to respond quickly to accept your place.

January 20: Start of the Spring semester.

Exceptions from online registration:

exchange studies (see below) - registration according to information from the department. We will contact you.

The university account must be active each semester so that you can:

  •     Access course pages on Athena (the school platform)
  •     Access to other IT resources within Stockholm University
  •     Order your university card

Follow the instructions to activate the University Account.

You register online at student.ladok.se. If you do not register by the deadline, you will lose your place.

For courses starting in Period 1 (when the spring semester begins), online registration is open:
•    7/1 – 15/1
For courses starting in Period 2 (second half of the spring semester), online registration is open:
•    7/1 – 13/3

You can register online (during the registration period) by clicking the Web register here button and then choosing either eduID or Antagning.se/universityadmissions.se to log in to Ladok.

If you are admitted, you will receive a welcome email from us to which you must respond within the allotted time.

From week 3, 2025, reserves can be admitted

Check your email (and also spam) daily during this period so you don't miss important information and risk losing your place. The email is sent to the address you used when you applied for the course via antagning.se/universityadmissions.se.

Exchange students arriving on Departmental or Central Exchange Agreements (Erasmus+, IMACS, Nordplus, Civis, Nordlys or Bilateral Central agreement) will be registred by the department before the semester starts for the courses they are admitted to at the Department.

Spring 2025: Admitted Exchange Students will be invited personally for an Zoom-online introduction meeting before the semester starts.
