The education introduces you to the study of international relations and its three sub-disciplines that pervade the undergraduate and postgraduate education, namely international cooperation, international security and international political economy - from a historical perspective.
The study covers a number of problem areas such as crisis and conflict, global governance, globalization and inequalities. The program also discusses various types of global challenges and solutions in international relations and international economic relations.
Central actors in these studies are states, international organizations, NGOs, and transnational corporations. We convey basic knowledge of the mentioned sub-disciplines of international relations from different theoretical perspectives.
The subject is well suited for those who in the future want to work with international issues: journalism, government agencies, intergovernmental organizations - IGOs (UN agencies, humanitarian organizations, environmental organizations, energy organizations, finance, trade and customs organizations, regional organizations), as well as in the aid agencies, non-governmental organizations such as NGOs and multinational companies.
The subject can also be combined with other areas such as global development, human geography, economic history, political science, business economics etc.
