What knowledge do young people think they have gained after their confirmation, and how important is this for their participation in the Church of Sweden after the confirmation period? These are the questions we investigate in this project.

Religious studies and psychology are school subjects connected to identity and worldview issues, which can be experienced as "close to life". We investigate how teaching can be designed so that teachers can offer students increased opportunities in learning the subject with integrity.

The research project focuses on examining methods and policies for teaching about religions and religious diversity in Swedish and South African schools. The aim is to promote sustainable social development.

The research school in Islamology is a collaboration between seven universities. Depending on the university, students are admitted to the research topic of religious studies, religious history, subject didactics and systematic theology. The purpose of the research school is to ensure that expertise in Islamology is kept alive.

Students often perceive writing instruction in Swedish as meaningless and boring. In this project, we explore how writing assignments can be designed to foster greater creativity and engagement.

The research project is a national collaboration with history and social study subject teachers throughout Sweden. The starting point is teachers' own teaching and assessment of their students' learning. The focus is on the use of narratives and role-play in teaching.

In this study, we examine how prospective priests and pastors describe their vocation. We want to understand how they see their identity and future task in the Church of Sweden and the Church of Equmenia.
