Research in management, organization and society has its focus on the intersection between the individual, organization, society and the environment.

Central questions are organizations in relation to globalization, social and "green" entrepreneurship, ethics and sustainable development, elite groups and their effect on society, strategic and technological change, employability and excellence cultures, and the challenges of modern work characterized by conflicting demands, creativity and control.

It takes an entire industry to cultivate artistic leadership

This thesis project has artistic leadership in Swedish institutional theatre as its area of interest. With an aim to challenge a dominant notion of artistic leadership being the subjective concern of a charismatic, individual leader, Carolina Frände will investigate an alternative understanding of leadership in Swedish theatre.

A new thesis shows the political context in social entrepreneurship. The study explores the political dimension of entrepreneurship emerging within the context of a subaltern counterpublic (a form of community cultivating contestation of current social structures) primarily consisting of second-generation Swedes with connections to marginalized suburbs in Stockholm.
