New Heads of Stockholm Business School

During the summer Stockholm Busienss School will have new Heads of department. The department has also got a new professor, new Heads of section and a new Professor representative.

On August 1st, Stockholm Business School will have new Heads of department.  Fredrik Nordin will be the new Head of department and Karin Berglund will be the new Deputy Head of department. Both Fredrik Nordin and Karin Berglund are professors and have been active at Stockholm Business School for many years.

Fredrik Nordin has worked in several different roles at SBS since 2009. He has been both Programme coordinator and Director of studies, for five years he was Head of the Marketing section and during the past year he has been Professor representative in marketing. Karin Berglund works as a researcher and teacher at the Management section and has been Professor representative in management.

The Head of department is responsible for the department's organization, finances and staff. The head of department has a term of office of three years and can hold several terms of office. They are appointed by the President and through proposals from the staff at the department.


New professor

The President of Stockholm University has decided to promote Iñaki Rodríguez Longarela to Professor of Business Administration, specializing in finance. Iñaki Rodríguez Longarela works at the Finance section.

New Head of section and Professor Representative

Hans Rämö is the new Head of the Management section and Jarkko Peltomäki is the new Head of the Finance section. Both will be Head of section during the period 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2025. Martin Johanson is the new Professor representative for the Marketing section from 1 August 2022 to 30 June 2023.
