Open seminar about the situation for imprisoned Palestinian children

Welcome to an open seminar with Khaled Quzmar, director general of Defense for Children International - Palestine, who will talk about the situation for arrested and imprisoned Palestinian children.
Khaled Quzmar is the director general of Defense for Children International - Palestine (DCIP). At his visit to Sweden, he contributes with information about the situation of the 500-700 Palestinian children who are arrested and imprisoned annually at an open seminar at the Department of Public Health Sciences.
As a lawyer, he has represented many Palestinian children in Israeli military courts and has great insight into what happens to the children when they are arrested, interrogated, during trials, in prison and beyond. This is a situation that affects human rights and law, child and youth science, social work and not least the physical and mental health of these children and their families.
Khaled Quzmar is a Palestinian lawyer from the West Bank, and have a master's degree in human rights from Galway, Ireland.
