Research groups
The Department of Public Health Sciences conducts research in a number of different areas, mainly health inequity and social science research on alcohol, tobacco, drug and gambling issues. Here you will find the department's research groups as well as research groups that researchers from the department are part of.
Our research groups consist of a number of larger or smaller groups in different research areas. These are led by one or more senior researchers, namely professors or associate professors.
From the research group pages, you can find interesting research projects and also more information on the researchers' profile pages.
The department's own research groups listed below are: Nordic Gambling Research Network – Gambling in Context (GAMIC) and Alcohol and Drug Research Network within Social Sciences (Sonad network).
