Milena Podolšak will publicly defend her doctoral thesis in Scandinavian Languages: Motion metaphors in Swedish political speeches. The defence is a public event and free of charge. It will be held in English. Department of Swedish Language and Multilingualism at Stockholm University.

Accessibility

There is an elevator right next to auditorium 1, on both floors 2 and 3. See the maps above for details.

From Roslagsvägen

  • There is an accessibility entrance is on floor 2 (ground floor), to the right of the Albano staircase (between building 1 on the far right and building 2 on the left).
  • The elevator is located diagonally to the right as you enter. The elevator is also accessible from the parking garage.
  • Auditorium 1 (Hörsal 1) is located on both floors 2 and 3. There are accessible seats at the top of the auditorium, accessed from floor 3.

From Albanovägen 28

  • There is an accessibility entrance is on level 4 (ground floor).
  • Parking spaces for the disabled are available on Albanovägen among others, see the heading Parking below.
  • There is an elevator directly to the right as you enter. The elevator is also accessible from the parking garage.
  • Auditorium 1 is located on both floors 2 and 3. There are accessible seats at the top of the auditorium, accessed from floor 3.

Parking

There is a parking garage including parking for the disabled (with elevators to the various buildings), there are outdoor parking spaces for the disabled and there is a bicycle garage as well as bike parking space outdoors. See Akademiska hus' website:

Public transports

You can easily get to Campus Albano by bike, walking, several bus lines or the metro.

  • Bus 50 to and from Odenplan, including from Campus Frescati/metro stop Universitetet (the University). The bus stop Albano is located along the main road Roslagsvägen.
  • Bus 670 to or from metro stop Tekniska högskolan (the Institute of Technology) / the Roslagsbanan stop Östra station. The bus stop Albano is located along the main road Roslagsvägen.
  • Metro, the red line from T-centralen stops at both Tekniska högskolan and Universitetet, from where you can take the bus, see above. From Universitet it is about a 15–20 minutes walk to Campus Albano (much longer from Tekniska högskolan).
