Master’s degree projects in plant systematics
The department offers ample opportunities for doing master’s projects in plant systematics. The projects are usually 45 or 60 credits, but shorter projects of 15 or 30 credits can also be arranged.
The studies are conducted individually and consist mainly of an independent research-project under supervision. The students are also offered to participate in the department’s research-seminar activities.
The goal of the studies is to give the student knowledge and experience in planning, conducting, analyzing and presenting an independent research project in plant systematics. An individual study plan is drawn up in consultation with the supervisor. The results of the projects are presented both at a public seminar, and as a written report.
