New student
Congratulations on being accepted to one of the top environmental science programmes in the world! On this page, you will find some practical information to help you on your way.
There are a few things that you need to take care of before you start to make your first weeks here go smoothly.
Reply to your admission offer!
You must actively accept the seat you have been offered. If you don’t reply by the deadline, you will lose the place that you’ve been offered.
First admission round
To confirm that you wish to keep your place, send an email to admission@aces.su.se
Second admission round
If you applied to the Second round, you must reply to your admissions offer at www.universityadmissions.se.
Conditionally admitted
If you are conditionally admitted you must be able to show the appropriate documents to prove your eligibility to be able to register. To show that you fulfil the requirementsand to make your conditional admittance actual admittance, please contact us: studeranu@aces.su.se.
How to decline your offer
If you decide not to attend, it’s important that you decline your place as soon as possible so that other students can be awarded a place. You will find more information about how to withdraw your application at universityadmissions.se:
Activate your University Account
One of the first things you should do is to activate your University Account to get access to IT services. You need this account to register for classes, to access course websites, and a host of othercrucial resources.

Register for your courses
It is important that you register for all the courses you will be taking each semester, or you might lose your position. You should get an email with information on how and when this is done.
If you have not received such an email 10 to 14 days before the start of the semester, you should contact the Student Administration Office (studeranu@aces.su.se).
In most cases you will register online in the student information system Ladok for students. Login with your University Account. If there is a problem and you cannot register, please contact the Student Administration Office (studeranu@aces.su.se) as soon as possible by email.
