Researchers from Europe meet at Store Mosse – for the sake of climate research

During three days, over 20 researchers from institutions across Europe came to Store Mosse National Park to discuss ongoing research in the park and nearby sites.

It is the first time such an interdisciplinary meeting was arranged and brought together researchers who work with, for example, vegetation ecology, greenhouse gas emissions, wetland management, paleoclimate reconstructions and microbial community dynamics. A central theme was to understand how the peatland functions over time and its future prospects in the face of climate change.
