- 13 Dec Final PhD seminar by Serena De Marchi Serena De Marchi, PhD student in Chinese, will have her final seminar on her PhD thesis project "”Prisonscape: An exploration into the real and imagined world of the Chinese literary prison” on December 13. The final seminar will be held in Asienbiblioteket, Kräftriket 21, and everyone who is interested is welcome to attend.

- 08 Feb Japanese Speech Contest for Students in Sweden Full-time student enrolled in a Swedish high school or university can participate in the Japansese Speach Contest held at the Department of Asian, Middle Eastern and Turkish Studies on 8 February 2020. The application deadline is 24 January. The Grand Prize is a Stockholm–Tokyo Flight Ticket.
