In the event of an emergency or accident, always call 112. The emergency number 112 is dialed directly on the department's telephones.
1. Put yourself in safety and take steps to prevent further personal injury.
2. Call 112 and call an ambulance, police and fire brigade.
3. Call the security guard 08-16 22 16.
Defibrillator
The closest defibrillator to our department office is in the South House, House F, floor 4.
When you remove the defibrillator from the cabinet, the security section personnel and the security guard who are trained in D-CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation with defibrillation) are alerted.
When you have started D-CPR, call 112 and send out a person who meets the ambulance.
Stockholm University has over 50 defibrillators placed on the premises
Fire safety
All premises must be evacuated before critical conditions occur in the event of fire or threatening situations. By critical conditions is meant, risk to human life and health.
In the event of a fire, everyone must immediately start evacuating the buildnings to safety.
Evacuate without delay when the fire alarm sounds or when there is a risk to life or health or when orders for evacuation are given by the police, rescue service or your evacuation leader.
Responsible for Fire safety at the Department of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies is Johan Fresk.
